I’m Cristian Badea, a Full-Stack Software Developer focused on building secure, efficient and accessible web and mobile-first applications. My development path began with curiosity and grew into a professional practice that blends structure, scalability and user-centred design.

After completing the Northcoders Software Engineering Bootcamp , I transitioned from IT Support into software development, gaining experience with React, Node.js, TypeScript, Prisma and Tailwind CSS. Since then, I’ve contributed to projects that combine front-end and back-end development, integrating APIs, databases and deployment pipelines to deliver consistent, high-quality experiences.

I enjoy turning complex concepts into practical, reliable software systems. My work focuses on efficiency, accessibility and real-world impact, from payment integrations and authentication systems to modular microservices built with Cloudflare Workers and Prisma ORM.

Recent work includes contributions to CarteaTaFunciara - a land-registry service built with a microservice architecture secured by Auth0 and integrated with BT iPay ; and CheckSync , a tablet-ready application designed to improve on-site safety and operations through real-time visitor, staff and contractor management. Both strengthened my understanding of scalable design, structured API communication and responsive UI development.

I approach each project with an engineering mindset, planning for maintainability, optimising performance and ensuring accessibility compliance (WCAG). I believe software should not only solve problems but also adapt smoothly to the people and environments that rely on it.
